Our most recent four legged visitor was Betty’s dog, Dougie. He is just a puppy and was beautifully soft and fluffy and coped very well with so many children. Betty told us all about how she looks after him—thank you Betty and Mum for sharing Dougie with us!

As part of Plymouth Universities Children's University programme of events, Class 3 had their Art in Nature session on a wonderful, warm, sunny day. (rearranged from one of the snow days last term). The animals keep a coming to Classes 1 and 2 and we love it! Our most recent visitors have been Fin’s chickens, Tristan’s pony, Jack and Jess’s hamster, Rosie’s guinea pigs and Jack and Lily’s rabbit. We are always very excited to see different pets and learn all about them.          

Classes 1 and 2 were joined by their peers from Kenton Primary for an inter-school morning of multi-sports activities. The weather stayed dry and spirits were high with children working in teams to tackle each event in the carousel.

Many fears were conquered with determination and a smile!      

Class 1 found out all about lifeguards, sea side safety and the role of the RNLI when they visited Exmouth Lifeboat Station.  They had a behind the scenes guided tour of the station, and got to see the lifeboats and all of the equipment used by the crews.

Class 1 have been developing all manner of physical skills with Mr Tyrell in PE. A bitterly cold morning led to Class 1 exploring the world around them.
