A message from our Head of School

Firstly, I just want to say a big warm welcome to our school. For new visitors, thank you for taking an interest in Kenn C of E Primary School. We know that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make, we also know that if you choose our school, it will be one of the best decisions that you ever make!

How do we know this? Well, let me tell you…

At Kenn C of E, we understand that children learn best in an environment where they have positive relationships with caring adults, where they feel safe, and where they feel free to explore and learn. We also know that children learn best when they are exposed to real life experiences and opportunities and, through our curriculum, we give the children these wow moments whenever possible. We achieve this through a variety of enrichment activities (including exciting trips out of school,  regular forest school and a range of inspiring visitors) alongside our rich and broad curriculum.

Here at Kenn C of E, we take pride in teaching the children the important values of Kindness towards ourselves and others, Courage towards new challenges and making the right choices, and Faith – in ourselves, in those around us and in our spirituality.

Finally, our talented staff really do go the extra mile for both your child and for you. We have a real sense of community and we will take any opportunity to invite you into school to enjoy your child’s education with them, so we can all ‘learn together, shine forever.’

Once again, thank you for taking an interest in our wonderful school. If you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to make an appointment. We are always delighted to show off our beautiful school grounds, kind and caring staff, happy children and ambitious learning environment.

Mr Joe Baxter
