As part of Plymouth Universities Children’s University programme of events, Class 3 had their Art in Nature session on a wonderful, warm, sunny day. (rearranged from one of the snow days last term).
They had to explore the gardens, using whatever they could find lying on the ground, to create a 3D piece of work.
Some took inspiration from the world around them, including the park itself and a tree, others used their imagination and interests from other parts of the lives to create some wonderful pieces of work.
They were so inspired by this activity, that when we returned to school, they all went out to create another piece of work, many developing their ideas from the mornings work.
