Class 2 and 4 had a very informative visit from Nick, a fire officer from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, this week.
They learnt lots about fire safety and smoke detectors. Jessica is demonstrating STOP DROP ROLL – this is what to do if our clothes catch fire. The children were all given bracelets with the same message.
Children are coming home to remind all adults to test their smoke alarms WEEKLY and create an escape plan for your home. Our children were confident when explaining the escape plan for school but not how to get out and where to go when they are at home.
