Class 3 were really excited this week when Michael Calver came to see the artwork that they had created in response to having seen his work at the Exeter Phoenix.
They asked him questions, such as which artist had inspired him as a child, they wanted to know when he knew he wanted to be an artist and what had given him the idea for this series of paintings.
He then looked at their photo montages and paintings. He was very impressed with their compositions, colour mixing and story telling that can be seen in their work.
He said that they have inspired him!
