Class 3 have been Investigating time through a range of activities, learning to tell and write the time from an analogue and digital clock, including 12-hour and 24-hour clocks. Using vocabulary such as o’clock, a.m./p.m., morning, afternoon, noon and midnight.
They especially enjoyed solving problems which involved investigating the calendar, investigating minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years.
A Year 3 girl said, “It’s really fun because I am learning stuff I didn’t know.”
A Year 4 child said “I found it easier to express my thoughts rather than in my head, working with someone you can share ideas.”
