Students from University of Exeter Medical School visited children in Classes 1 and 2 this week to help them understand the importance of hygiene.
The students received a grant from the Royal College of Pathology London, to be used specifically on carrying out presentations and activities in schools during the week starting 6th November—National Pathology Week.
Children were taught about the importance of good hygiene practice using uv lights and gels that shone to look like germs under uv lights. Children also took part in art and craft activities that helped them understand how good hygiene is essential.
