What a wonderful time Class1 had visiting Powderham Castle as part of our Towers, Turrets and Tunnels topic. The children were so excited to be able to look around a real life castle, and to think, it’s practically on our doorstep too. During our private tour of the castle the children had so many questions, which were answered so expertly by our lovely tour guide, Felicity. The children were simply fascinated by everything they experienced on the day- including finding secret doors in the castle walls and even where the original loos were located – not somewhere we ever expected!
