This half term we’ve been doing many different things to help us learn lots of new skills.
We’ve been finding out about magnetism, playing with clay, and exploring the world of dinosaurs. We shared all we already knew about dinosaurs – we have quite a few specialists in Class 1! – and learnt new facts along the way. We made dinosaur non-fiction books and had to solve the problem of getting some dinosaurs out of ice eggs. Some suggestions involved wrapping the ice eggs in a blanket, smashing them on the ground, chipping away at them with scissors and running them under the hot tap. We had lots of fun trying to work it out!
Did you know that a diplodocus was about 27 metres long from head to tail? We measured this out on the school field – it was huge! We have also been busy making dinosaurs using junk modelling.
We hope you enjoy looking at photos of us in action.
