The children in Class 2 had an amazing time at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, learning lots of new exciting facts.
We went on the Magical Seas interactive tour of the aquarium, which was delivered by one of their expert teaching staff, Andy, who held the childrens attention for 2 hours, enabling them to fully engage and appreciate each area we visited.
The session helped develop the children’s understanding of the many habitats found within the sea, and raised their awareness of the variety of life found within these diverse habitats.
We saw some amazing sea creatures, ranging from the sea life found in the waters around Plymouth to beautiful tropical fish.
When asked, the whole class couldn’t think of one best bit, because the whole trip was the best bit!
Emma said that it was the best trip she had ever been on!
