Class 1 had a fun packed trip to Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve. We explored different animal habitats – the pond, the woodland and the sea shore.
We did pond dipping, hunted for minibeasts in the woods and searched for and sorted shells on the beach.
We were ready for lunch the minute we boarded the minibus! We finally enjoyed our much needed picnic lunch on a lovely grassy area where a greedy seagull tried to pinch some sandwiches! After lunch we headed to a little beach beyond Red Rock and built sandcastles, stone mountains and beautiful pebble towers. The sun shone for us too! Enjoy looking at some snapshots from our busy day.
