This week, the whole school has taken part in CAP workshops. CAP stands for Child Assault Prevention. The CAP team work with children and staff to help reduce children's vulnerability to abuse. Our most recent four legged visitor was Betty’s dog, Dougie. He is just a puppy and was beautifully soft and fluffy and coped very well with so many children. Betty told us all about how she looks after him—thank you Betty and Mum for sharing Dougie with us!

The animals keep a coming to Classes 1 and 2 and we love it! Our most recent visitors have been Fin’s chickens, Tristan’s pony, Jack and Jess’s hamster, Rosie’s guinea pigs and Jack and Lily’s rabbit. We are always very excited to see different pets and learn all about them.          

Classes 1 and 2 were joined by their peers from Kenton Primary for an inter-school morning of multi-sports activities. The weather stayed dry and spirits were high with children working in teams to tackle each event in the carousel.
