The animals keep a coming to Classes 1 and 2 and we love it! Our most recent visitors have been Fin’s chickens, Tristan’s pony, Jack and Jess’s hamster, Rosie’s guinea pigs and Jack and Lily’s rabbit. We are always very excited to see different pets and learn all about them.
Classes 1 and 2 were joined by their peers from Kenton Primary for an inter-school morning of multi-sports activities. The weather stayed dry and spirits were high with children working in teams to tackle each event in the carousel.
This week was British Poetry Week so we’ve all been listening to and reading lots of different poems, finding ones we like and sharing them with each other. Classes 1 and 2 visited Bickham Farm as part of their learning about food and where it comes from. Rod Hall kindly showed us all around his farm and told us about his horses, cows and calves and his chickens and bees.
