A group of Class 3 children went along to a Fairtrade event at Westcliff Primary school, along with several other local schools, to find out all about tea. There was a visitor from overseas who talked to the children about the whole tea production process.
Our Year 6 pupils were invited to enjoy a Lent Lunch at the Kenn Centre, run by members of St Andrew’s Church. They were treated to delicious soup and bread as well as a pudding, which they couldn’t say no to!

In Maths, classes 1 and 2 have been learning about halves and quarters. We’ve been exploring halves and quarters using play dough, paper shapes, groups of objects and fruit and vegetables. Whilst finding halves and quarters of fruit and veg we also learnt how to use a knife and chop food safely.
