Mental Health week helped highlight to our children that our mental health needs taking care of as much as our physical well being.
Children across the school learnt about recognising different feelings and emotions and how they can deal with them. They learnt mindfulness techniques and were taught practical strategies to help care for their own mental health —ask them about their ‘10 a day’!
We will be continuing to keep the importance of mental health and how to deal with it at the forefront of children’s minds throughout the term.
