Classes 1 and 2 enjoyed a brilliantly sunny day out at Living Coasts.
We spent lots of time outside, enjoying the sunshine and learning about penguins, seals and otters. The keepers talked to us about each of the different animals and we watched them being fed. A workshop about penguins gave us chance to show off what we already knew and to learn more interesting facts. Did you know penguins had spiky tongues to help stop the fish slipping out as they try to eat them?!
We all waddled like penguins and pretended to be penguins by trying to walk with eggs on our feet. It was a great day out – thanks to our helpers for coming along with us; we couldn’t do it without you.
