Four schools from across the Dawlish Learning Partnership joined together yesterday afternoon for a Tag Rugby Festival. Tag Rugby is a safe, fun and exciting form of non-contact rugby as there are no scrums, line-outs or tackling allowed.
On a glorious wednesday afternoon, children from Kenn & Kenton Primary Schools along with Gatehouse ACE Academy and Westcliff Primary Academy met at Westcliff’s playing field to play a number of matches.
As it was a fun festival event, there was no overall winning team but everyone went away with a certificate for taking part and representing their school.
Thanks to all the staff and parents who made this event possible, in particular Mr Webb for leading the afternoon.
A great time was had by all.
