We were delighted to welcome Sue to lead our collective worship.
Sue shared the Bible story of Peter the fisherman, when Jesus helped his disciples make an extraordinary catch after they had caught nothing all night. The children thoroughly enjoyed bringing the story to life by acting it out, with our youngest pupils helping to add the fish to the net as the catch grew!
Through this engaging retelling, the children explored the meaning of the story: the importance of trust, perseverance, and having faith, even when things feel difficult or uncertain. They reflected on how listening carefully and believing in guidance can lead to positive outcomes and linked the story to our own school values, of Kindness, Faith and Courage.
The children took away a clear message about not giving up, supporting one another, and trusting in what is right. It was a joyful and memorable act of worship that all pupils enjoyed.
