Years 4, 5 and 6 have had a lovely afternoon serving cream teas to members of the local community as part of our ‘We Are Ivy’ week.
Approximately, 30 people came from the local area who were welcomed in by pupils on the school gate; ‘ushers’ led our visitors to their seats; ‘servers’ took orders and brought over cream teas; ‘chatters’ were on hand to talk to all of the guests; two pupils put together all of the cream teas; as well as a washing up team. At 2:15, classes 1, 2 and 3 joined us and each class performed a dance to our visitors. All of the pupils thoroughly enjoyed planning and organising this event. Some people wanted to make a donation; these will be given to the Church Fund.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME – WE HOPE YOU HAD AS MUCH FUN AS WE DID.
