On Thursday 17th November, 2022 Class 4 had a very exciting trip. We left school at 6am and travelled by coach to London. We went to the Houses of Parliament for a tour and workshop. We went to the viewing gallery of the House of Lords; they were debating the Ukraine War and in the House of Commons we witnessed a debate about the cost of living crisis in the UK. We all saw some famous faces (Rishi Sunak, Theresa May, Ed Milliband, Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson – to name but a few!). It was very interesting and we now know far more about the role of parliament than we did before.
After that, we took the coach to The Natural History Museum where the Earthquake zone and the Dinosaur area were the top favourites. Here are a few snaps from our amazing day in London.
