We invited Helen Plant, a Daisi registered local artist (Devon Arts in Schools Initiative), to work with the children to help create a wall hanging that represented our Christian vision.
The children worked, over a period of time, on trying to unpick and understand the meaning of our school vision – ‘Aspire, believe and flourish within our nurturing community.’ The children’s ideas and drawings were shared with Helen and she helped us put the vision into a piece of artwork.
The children drew flowers which were used on the wall hanging and they all took part in painting the beautiful scene.
