What a fantastic World Book Day we had! Children and staff enjoyed a truly wonderful day filled with reading, imagination, and storytelling. Throughout the school, pupils were fully engaged in a variety of reading-based activities that celebrated the magic of books and the joy that stories bring to our lives.
We were delighted to welcome Emily from Usborne Books, who led an assembly for the children. She introduced our Sponsored Read and also hosted a fantastic book fair, giving parents and pupils the opportunity to explore and purchase some brilliant new books to enjoy at home.
Across the school, classrooms were buzzing with excitement as everyone took time to share a section from their favourite story. It was a lovely moment to pause together and celebrate the power of reading — bringing stories to life through voices, imagination, and enthusiasm.
It truly was a joyful day that reminded us how books can inspire, entertain, and transport us to new worlds. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special! 📖💫
